If you are a cyclist and looking for an unforgettable challenge on the UK’s greatest two day cycle event, you’ve come to the right place! Those who love multi-day rides and would prefer to split the distance across two action-packed days – 88.4 miles and then 68.5 miles – will find the Weekender is the perfect option.

The weekender route starts by heading clockwise, south from Lee Valley Showground, you join the top section of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race route. Then you cycle through Central London along the Cycle Superhighway taking in the iconic sights – the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. After clearing the Capital, you are faced with the stunning climbs and descents of the North Downs before cycling west to Windsor Great Park. Here you can unwind and celebrate the day’s achievements at our Festival Basecamp which offers camping facilities, hot showers, bars, food and live music.

Following a night’s rest, it is time to get back in the saddle for the slightly shorter day back via the Chiltern Hills and ancient Epping Forest. This challenging route is guaranteed to make it a weekend to remember! For full details check out the website
